Lucy's first hospitalization

I realize that this is not exactly a traditional milestone, but it is noteworthy none the less. Back in March, Lucy was hospitalized for a severe ear infection that led to an infection in the lymph node behind her ear. She had surgery to drain and culture the lymph node, and then had to stay for a couple of days on IV antibiotics. She handled it like a pro, and we think the whole thing was harder on us than it was on her. In my incredibly biased opinion, she looked pretty adorable in her hospital gown and gauze head wrap. You can judge for yourselves.

Now, about a month later, Lucy has had a few set backs, but for the most part she is doing much better. Hopefully we will not have any repeat experiences anytime in the near future!
