Toothless Grin

Lucy has been smiling and laughing more and more lately. A few days ago I finally caught a smile on camera while she was watching her mobile in her crib.

Potluck

Lucy went to her second potluck ever tonight! Here she is all dressed and ready to go.

She had a great time with everyone, of course. Here she is hanging out with her good friend Michelle.

Likes and Dislikes

I finally put together the swing that Brent and Keila gave us! Lucy really likes the swing, although sometimes she is more interested in staring at it than she is in actually swinging.

Lucy is learning to like being on her tummy, but so far she just tolerates it for short periods of time...

We took Lucy in for her 2 month check up today and she weighs 11.3 pounds!! We were not surprised by this because she is growing out of a lot of her clothes, and also because she loves to eat. Sadly for Lucy (and a little for me too) she had to get her first round of shots. I spoiled her when we got home by wrapping her up in the softest blankets and letter her nap in her vibrating chair – what a treat. Also, she has some really cool band-aids on her legs now.

So I am jumping on the bandwagon and starting a blog. There are a few reasons for this:

1. So family and friends who live far away (and for those who live here too!) can see what is going on in the exciting life of Lucy Wiese.
2. Because the past 8 weeks have gone by so fast and I want to document these times as much as possible.
3. Because I am a stay at home mom now, with just this one baby, so I finally have the time to do this.
4. Lastly, because we think Lucy is pretty cool.
